The design of this summer house is tailored specifically to the natural landscape of the site in the National Park Mols Bjerge (DK) with its ‘soft hills’ and unspoiled vegetation. The simple layout consists of three separate zones: A large common area with natural daylight from two sides, and two more private zones in either end of the house that contains the practical functions and bedrooms.

The house design is based on a prefab housing concept which features the development of AJGA’s innovative, hybrid use of wooden wall systems to be used in prototypes for single family home development. It therefore mixes CNC cut wooden cassettes with more standard, engineered lumber and CLT walls. The concept is for the homeowner to have the ultimate flexibility during the design process while ensuring a limited cost impact.
