Starting with a series of existing brown brick buildings from the 1970s and the desire to update them to a new and modern office environment, we proposed a simple, overall concept which connects the building volumes in a continuous array that interact with characteristic brown stones. Materiality was a main focus from the start of the process and is expressed in the copper cladding which underlines the newly established, internal infrastructure of the buildings. The array of volumes finishes with a cube that extends out of the terrain and creates a fantastic view towards the scenic surroundings. The new volume simultaneously creates a terrace for the offices, while the landscape subtly embraces Parking, patios and other outdoor recreational functions.
